Packaging Strategies Magazine recently featured four trends in the packaging industry which were identified by the Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC).
The growth of digitally printed packaging leads the list. They pointed to the all-time high amount of digital submissions for this year’s PPC awards as evidence. Not only were there a record-breaking number of digitally printed entries, the print quality was called out as well. This is not a surprise, as digital print is comparable to offset.
